What is the difference between the 50A and 60A ESC variants?
Both ESCs use the same AT32F421 MCU and AM32 firmware. The 50A version is rated 45A continuous / 50A peak (10s); the 60A version is rated 60A continuous / 65A peak (10s) and uses 40V top-grade dual MOSFETs in a 5×6mm package for higher current handling. Choose 60A for 6S builds or high-power motors.
Can I buy the FC or ESC separately?
Yes. The variant dropdown includes: F405-50A Stack, F405-60A Stack, F405 FC only, 50A ESC only, and 60A ESC only. Select the variant that matches your needs.
What firmware does the F405 V3 support?
The F405 V3 supports Betaflight (default), INAV, and ArduPilot. The ESC runs AM32 firmware (target: AT32DEVF421). This makes the stack suitable for freestyle, long-range fixed-wing, and VTOL builds.
Does the F405 V3 support DJI O4 Air Unit?
Yes. The F405 V3 includes a dedicated DJI O4 Air Unit port (6-pin connector) and a DJI 6-pin cable is included in the package. No additional adapter is required.
What BEC outputs does the F405 V3 provide?
The F405 V3 provides three independent BEC outputs: 3.3V/0.5A, 5V/3A, and 12V/2.5A (switchable to 10V/2.5A). A BEC switch is included to reduce VTX heating during extended flights.

The DolphinRC F405 V3 is a 30.5×30.5mm FC&ESC stack built for pilots who want Betaflight, INAV, and ArduPilot compatibility in a single compact package. The F405 V3 flight controller pairs an STM32F405 processor with an ICM-42688-P gyro, 16MB blackbox, dual camera input, and a dedicated DJI O4 Air Unit port. The AM32 ESC is available in 50A and 60A versions — both using AT32F421 MCU with programmable PWM up to 48KHz and Sytech 3OZ copper gold-plated PCB for reliable high-current performance on 2–6S builds.
