The GTS-2 measures only 23.6mm in height, which is 3mm shorter than standard short-body servos. This ultra-low profile design is specifically engineered for 1/10 scale racing chassis where servo bay clearance is critical, such as electric buggies and touring cars. The reduced height allows for lower center of gravity and better chassis flex without servo interference.
What is the difference between the Standard 180mm wire and 60mm wire versions?
Both versions are identical in performance and specifications. The difference is the servo lead wire length. The Standard version has a 180mm wire for conventional receiver placement. The 60mm short wire version uses reverse wiring optimized for specific chassis layouts where the receiver is mounted close to the servo, reducing cable clutter and weight. Choose based on your chassis layout and receiver position.
What are TC4 Titanium gears and why are they better than steel?
TC4 is a high-grade titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) used in aerospace and motorsport applications. Compared to standard steel gears, TC4 titanium gears are approximately 4.5g lighter and 50% harder and tougher, providing superior wear resistance and impact strength. The weight saving directly reduces rotating mass, contributing to faster servo response and lower overall chassis weight - critical advantages in competitive 1/10 scale racing.
Does the GTS-2 support i-BUS2 for real-time parameter adjustment?
Yes. The GTS-2 supports Flysky i-BUS2 protocol, enabling remote parameter adjustment (stiffness, speed, deadband, center point, direction) and real-time temperature monitoring via compatible Flysky transmitters (NB4+ and NB4 Pro+). It also supports high-speed modes from Noble NB4 Pro (NOR/SR/SFR), Futaba (NOR/SR/UR), and SANWA (NOR/SHR/SSR/SUR/SXR), as well as the Power HD PG-CB63 programming card.
What voltage should I run the GTS-2 at for best performance?
The GTS-2 operates on 6.0V to 8.4V DC. For maximum performance in competitive racing, running at 8.4V (2S LiHV) delivers 23.0 kg-cm of torque at 0.065 sec/60 degrees - the fastest and most powerful configuration. At 7.4V (2S LiPo) you get 18.0 kg-cm at 0.073 sec/60 degrees, which is the most common racing setup. Do not exceed 8.4V to avoid damaging the servo.
