What is the difference between the AFHDS 3 and ELRS versions of the PA01?
Both versions use the same PA01 transmitter hardware with Hall sensor gimbals and EdgeTX firmware. What does Left Throttle, Right Throttle, and Dual-return center throttle mean?
These options refer to the throttle gimbal configuration. Left Throttle (Mode 2) places the throttle on the left stick - the most common setup for FPV drone pilots worldwide. Right Throttle (Mode 1) places the throttle on the right stick, preferred by some fixed-wing and traditional RC pilots. What battery does the PA01 use and how long does it last?
The PA01 is powered by two 18650 LiPo cells (7.4V, not included) installed in the charging base. Battery life depends on the capacity of the 18650 cells used - with standard 3000mAh+ cells, expect several hours of flight session runtime. The transmitter charges via USB Type-C on the charging base. A low-voltage alarm triggers below 7.2V to warn you before the batteries are depleted. We recommend using high-quality protected 18650 cells for best performance.
