What is the difference between the three variants - Whole set, Only transmitter (no handle), and Only transmitter (with handle)?
All three variants include the NB4 Pro+ transmitter body. The Whole set of transmitter includes the complete package with battery, handle, phone mount, and all accessories - the recommended option for most buyers. The Only transmitter (No handle and phone mount) is the bare transmitter unit only, suited for users who already own compatible handles or prefer a custom setup. The Only transmitter (With original battery+handle+phone mount) includes the battery and handle but is sold without a receiver - ideal for users who already have AFHDS 3 receivers.
How many channels does the NB4 Pro+ support, and what protocol does it use?
The NB4 Pro+ supports up to 18 channels and uses Flysky's AFHDS 3 (third-generation automatic frequency hopping digital system) protocol. It operates on 2.4GHz and is compatible with all AFHDS 3 receivers including FGr4B, FGr4S, FGr4D, FGr8B, and others. It is not backward compatible with older AFHDS or AFHDS 2A receivers.
Does the NB4 Pro+ support i-BUS2 for real-time servo data monitoring and parameter adjustment?
Yes. The NB4 Pro+ fully supports Flysky i-BUS2 protocol, enabling two-way communication with compatible i-BUS2 servos such as the Power HD GTS Series. You can remotely adjust servo parameters (stiffness, speed, deadband, center point, direction) directly from the transmitter screen, and monitor real-time voltage and temperature data. The NB4 Pro+ also supports data logging of servo voltage, temperature, and signal for up to 1 hour after racing for post-session analysis.
What is the battery life and how does charging work?
The NB4 Pro+ features a high-capacity battery system providing extended runtime suitable for full race days. Charging is done via the USB Type-C port, supporting fast charging. Battery life varies by usage and RF output settings. The transmitter displays a low-voltage warning to alert you before the battery is depleted.
Does the NB4 Pro+ support PC simulator use and trainer/student mode?
Yes. The NB4 Pro+ supports USB simulator function via its Type-C port, making it compatible with popular RC driving simulators on PC. It also supports Trainer, Student, and H Track link modes: Trainer mode accepts external PPM input, Student mode outputs PPM signal for use with a trainer transmitter, and H Track mode connects to a head tracker for FPV applications. Two units can be linked via a Type-C cable for coach/student training sessions.
