What setups is this ESC suitable for?
This is a 40A brushless ESC with an XT60 battery input and 3.5mm bullet motor connectors. It's the factory spec for the FMS 1300mm PA-18 and compatible with other 3536-class motor setups.
What does '200mm input cable' mean?
The battery input wires (red/black thick wires) are 200mm long, sufficient for routing from the battery bay to the motor mount area.
Does this ESC have a BEC output?
Yes. It has a built-in BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) to power the receiver and servos. Check the product label or manual for specific output voltage.
Does the ESC require programming?
Factory preset for the PA-18, generally plug-and-play. For adjustments (brake, timing, etc.), use a programming card or throttle channel on your transmitter.
Is ESC heating normal?
Mild warming during flight is normal. However, if it's too hot to touch (over 70°C) or cuts out intermittently, land immediately and check for overload, poor cooling, or loose connections.
