2. D6 Pro vs D6: What's the Difference?

Short answer: charging performance is identical — the only difference is that the D6 Pro has a built-in 200W AC power supply, so it runs straight from a wall outlet.

• D6 (standard): DC input only (6.5–30V). It requires an external switching power supply or a large battery pack — best for pilots who already own a field power setup.
• D6 Pro: Built-in 200W AC supply (AC 100–240V universal input), plug-and-play at home. It keeps the DC input too, so on external DC power it delivers the same 325W × 2 (650W total) as the D6.

3. Design, Buttons and Ports

Short answer: a 2.8" high-brightness color screen and dual-channel controls on the front, USB and firmware ports on the side, AC/DC inputs and a cooling fan on the back — compact and well organized.

The front panel features a 2.8-inch high-brightness color LCD that stays readable even in bright outdoor sunlight. Below and beside the screen is the main control area:

• Channel button (CH): switches between CH1 and CH2.

5. How Fast Is Dual-Channel 650W Charging?

Short answer: on DC power, each channel delivers up to 325W, so you can fast-charge two 6S packs at 15A simultaneously — a 1300mAh 6S FPV pack takes roughly 10–15 minutes.

The D6 Pro runs a highly optimized charging algorithm with up to 94% efficiency. On DC input (24V+), the two channels are fully independent at up to 325W / 15A each. Take the most common FPV pack, a 6S 1300mAh LiPo: at a conservative ~3C charge rate, one pack goes from storage voltage to full in under 15 minutes. Charge two at once and you have near-unlimited rotation in the field.

One important note on power distribution in AC mode: on mains power the total budget is 200W shared between both channels. If you start a high-current task on CH1 and then start CH2, the system prioritizes the later-started channel and automatically reduces the first channel's current. For the smoothest experience on mains, run one large pack fast and the other slow — or simply queue them.

6. Which Battery Types Does It Support?

Short answer: 1–6S lithium (including high-voltage LiHv), 1–16S nickel-based, 2–24V lead-acid, plus smart batteries — virtually every battery an RC pilot owns.

Can the D6 Pro plug straight into a wall outlet?

Can it charge DJI drone batteries?
