The PL18EV is purpose-built for multi-function RC engineering and simulation models, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, tanks, armored vehicles, fire trucks, tugboats, and robot models. With 18 channels and 5D Hall sensor joysticks, it provides the multi-axis control required for complex engineering vehicle operations that standard surface transmitters cannot support.

A 5D Hall sensor gimbal uses magnetic field sensing instead of physical potentiometers, providing contactless, wear-free operation with significantly longer lifespan and more precise control. The 5D design adds additional axes of movement beyond standard 2-axis joysticks, enabling simultaneous control of multiple functions such as boom, arm, bucket, swing, and travel on an excavator - all from a single joystick. This makes the PL18EV ideal for realistic simulation of complex machinery.

Yes, the PL18EV is compatible with all AFHDS 3 receivers. It is not backward compatible with older AFHDS or AFHDS 2A receivers. The transmitter operates on 2.4GHz with AFHDS 3 protocol, supporting up to 18 channels with 4096 resolution. Compatible receivers include any current Flysky AFHDS 3 receiver such as FGr4B, FGr4S, FGr8B, and others.

The PL18EV features a built-in 1S 4300mAh LiPo battery providing over 5.5 hours of runtime with standard accessories. It supports both wired USB charging (approximately 6 hours at 5V/2A) and wireless charging (approximately 7 hours). A low-voltage warning activates below 3.65V to alert you before the battery is depleted. The transmitter also supports USB simulator connection for PC-based RC simulation.
