What is the difference between the FGr4B and FGr4S?
The FGr4B has an external single antenna that you can position for optimal signal routing — useful in metal-chassis RC cars where a built-in antenna would be shielded. The FGr4S has a fixed built-in single antenna, making it even more compact but less flexible for antenna placement. Both support AFHDS 3 and the same output modes.
What is the difference between the FGr4B and FGr4D?
The FGr4D is the more advanced model: it has dual built-in antennas, IPX6 nano waterproof coating, BVD battery voltage detection, and i-BUS2 support. The FGr4B has a single external antenna, no waterproofing, and standard i-BUS (no i-BUS2 or BVD). Choose the FGr4B if you need a small, antenna-flexible receiver without special waterproofing; choose the FGr4D for wet environments and full telemetry.
Which transmitters are compatible with the FGr4B?
The FGr4B is compatible with all Flysky AFHDS 3 transmitters and RF modules, including PL18, PL18 EV, Paladin EV, NB4, NB4 Lite, NB4 Pro+, NB4+, and PA01. It is not compatible with AFHDS 2A transmitters.
Can I configure the FGr4B output mode?
Yes. The FGr4B output mode (PWM, PPM, i-BUS, or S.BUS) is configured via the paired transmitter menu. Refer to your transmitter’s manual or the Flysky RGB Assistant software for configuration steps.
What failsafe behavior does the FGr4B have?
If no failsafe is configured on the transmitter, the FGr4B will stop PWM/PPM/i-BUS output when signal is lost. S.BUS holds the last received value. If failsafe is configured, all channels output the preset safe values defined in the transmitter.
