PA01 unboxing experience and evaluation experience

  This article will primarily share my unboxing experience with FlySky's new PA01, evaluating it from various perspectives: packaging, specs, feel, hardware, features, price, etc. I give the PA01 a high overall rating. At $199, it offers excellent value and is very competitive, making it truly one of the best FPV Drone Radios.

  Outer Packaging

  The PA01's outer packaging is very simple and elegant, primarily white, and uses a relatively thick cardboard cover to provide excellent protection and support.

  Configuration List

  The default configuration is as follows, including a TMr receiver worth $40. I learned from FlySky staff that only the 2025 batch will include a TMr receiver, and starting in 2026, no receiver will be included.

  Hand-Feel Experience

  The PA01's design resembles an XBOX or other gaming console, allowing the entire controller to be completely contained within the palm of your hand.

 

  The Gimabl Stick's spring force and centering can be quickly adjusted using the holes on the back.

  Hardware Design Highlights: The PA01's biggest hardware highlight is its color, outdoor-friendly, high-brightness display.

  Feature Highlights

  The PA01's biggest highlight is its support for both the AFHDS 3 and ELRS protocols. Flashing both is incredibly convenient, requiring only the FLYSKY Open Source Assistant.
