Where on the transmitter is this ribbon cable installed?
One end of the ribbon cable connects to the Steering wheel, and the other end connects to a Steering wheel ribbon cable connector on the motherboard.
What precautions should be taken during installation?
Since both ends of the ribbon cable connect to a very small connector, ensure the connector's switch is firmly pressed down; ensure the entire end of the ribbon cable is fully inserted into the connector.
Under what circumstances should the ribbon cable be replaced?
If you find that the Steering wheel output is unresponsive, or the Endpoint is inaccurate, or the output cannot be fixed and the value keeps fluctuating, the ribbon cable may be damaged.

Restore reliable steering-wheel control on a compatible FLYSKY Noble transmitter with this Steering Wheel FPC Flat Ribbon Cable 1. This small internal cable connects the steering wheel assembly to the power-supply PCBA and carries the steering-wheel potentiometer data used by the transmitter.
What This Cable Does
The FPC cable provides the signal path between the steering wheel and the transmitter electronics. When the cable is correctly seated and undamaged, the wheel's potentiometer data can reach the PCBA so steering input is read normally. A cracked, loose, or damaged cable can interrupt that path and cause abnormal steering behavior.

Installation Notes
- Power off the transmitter and remove the battery before opening the housing.
- Release the small connector locks before removing the old cable. Do not pull on the flex film or force the connector.
- Insert both ends fully and press the connector switches firmly down so the cable is held securely.
- Route the cable along the original path and avoid sharp folds, twisting, or pressure on its 90-degree corners, which can crack easily.
- After reassembly, test steering center, endpoint response, and value stability before normal use.
