What vehicles is the FS-G11P compatible with — can it control both cars and boats?
Yes. The FS-G11P is designed as a multi-surface transmitter compatible with RC cars, RC boats, and other ground/water-based vehicles. It supports receivers using Flysky's ANT protocol, making it versatile across different surface RC platforms.
Does the FS-G11P come with a receiver, or do I need to purchase one separately?
Yes! The FS-G11P comes packaged in a dedicated carrying case, which includes the transmitter and one FS-R11P 11-channel ANT receiver. Everything you need to get started is included out of the box.
Is the FS-G11P compatible with my existing Flysky AFHDS or AFHDS 2A receivers?
No. The FS-G11P exclusively uses Flysky's ANT protocol and is not compatible with AFHDS or AFHDS 2A receivers. If you are upgrading from an older Flysky system, you will need to replace your existing receivers with ANT-compatible models. The included FS-R11P receiver is ANT-based and ready to pair out of the box.
What does "11 channels" mean in practice — what can I control with all 11 channels?
With 11 channels, you can simultaneously control multiple functions beyond basic steering and throttle, such as gear shifting, winch control, lights, differential lock, horn, and auxiliary functions depending on your vehicle's setup. This makes the G11P well-suited for scale crawlers, drift cars, and feature-rich RC boats that require advanced multi-channel control.
This listing says "English Version" — what does that mean, and are firmware updates available?
The English Version means the transmitter's menu interface, labels, and user manual are in English, as opposed to the Chinese domestic version. Flysky periodically releases firmware updates for the G11P via their official website and the Flysky Assistant PC software, allowing you to update features and fine-tune settings. We recommend checking Flysky's official support page for the latest firmware.
