Is the Type-C port waterproof?
The Type-C port has undergone special waterproof treatment, making it safe for outdoor use in light rain or dusty environments. It is not rated for full submersion.
What is the difference between this PCBA Base and the 3D Printing Type-C Base?
The PCBA version uses a circuit-board-based construction that is lighter and more rigid than the 3D-printed version. The 3D Printing version offers more color customization options. If weight reduction is your priority, the PCBA version is the better choice.
