The built-in gyroscope provides active stabilization feedback for RC cars and boats. It detects unwanted rotation or drift and sends corrective signals to help keep the model on track. This is particularly useful for high-speed RC cars on uneven surfaces or RC boats in choppy water.
What is i-BUS2 and how does it differ from standard i-BUS?
i-BUS2 is Flysky's updated serial bus protocol supporting bidirectional communication. This allows real-time telemetry data (such as gyro feedback, sensor readings) to be sent back to the transmitter. Standard i-BUS is one-way (transmitter to receiver only). i-BUS2 requires a compatible AFHDS 3 transmitter.
What is a Newport interface and can each port be configured independently?
Newport is Flysky's flexible signal interface system. Each of the INr4-GYB's 4 Newport ports can be independently configured as i-BUS2, S.BUS, i-BUS, or PPM output via the transmitter menu. This lets you connect different peripherals to different ports simultaneously — for example, a flight controller on S.BUS and a sensor on i-BUS2.
Which transmitters are compatible with the INr4-GYB?
The INr4-GYB is compatible with all Flysky AFHDS 3 surface transmitters, including the NB4, NB4 Lite, NB4 Pro+, NB4+, Noble NB4 Pro, PL18, PL18 EV, Paladin EV, and PA01, as well as any RF module supporting AFHDS 3 protocol.
How does the INr4-GYB compare to the FGr4D?
The INr4-GYB is uniquely suited for builds that need active gyro stabilization. The FGr4D offers dual built-in antennas, IPX6 waterproofing, and BVD battery voltage detection but has no built-in gyroscope. Choose the INr4-GYB if gyro stabilization is your priority; choose the FGr4D for waterproof or dual-antenna range requirements.
