What is included in the base kit (X5 Drone Kit+GPS)?
The base kit includes the Nightingale X5 frame, 4x LieKong 2207 1950KV motors, DolphinRC F405V3 FC, 60A 4-in-1 ESC, HQ J37WH 5-inch propellers, GPS module, 2-in-1 LED buzzer, VTX heat sink, and accessory hardware. No receiver or VTX is included — you will need to add your own receiver and video system.
What is the difference between the ELRS 2.4G and TBS 915M variants?
The ELRS 2.4G variant includes an ExpressLRS 2.4GHz long-range receiver for use with ELRS-compatible transmitters. The TBS 915M variant includes a TBS Crossfire 915MHz receiver for use with TBS Crossfire or Tracer transmitters. Both are long-range receiver options — choose based on your existing radio system.
What does the O4 PRO variant add?
Variants with '+O4PRO' include the DJI O4 Pro air unit for HD digital FPV video transmission. This is compatible with DJI Goggles 3 and DJI RC Motion 3. If you already own a DJI O4 Pro unit, choose a non-O4PRO variant to avoid duplication.
What battery is recommended for the Nightingale X5?
The recommended battery is a 6S LiPo, 1450–1650mAh capacity. The XT60EW-M connector on the ESC is compatible with standard XT60 battery connectors. Battery is not included in any variant.
Is this a ready-to-fly drone or does it require assembly?
This is a PNP (Plug-and-Play) kit. The frame, motors, FC, and ESC are pre-assembled and pre-wired. You will need to add a compatible receiver (included in ELRS/TBS variants), a 6S LiPo battery, a radio transmitter, and FPV goggles to fly. Basic Betaflight configuration may be required.
