Description
The iFlight Borg Mini H7 Stack pairs an STM32H743-based flight controller with the Borg 60RS 4-in-1 ESC for FPV racing builds. This configuration includes an onboard 2.4GHz ELRS receiver, an FPC connection between the boards and a switchable 12V VTX power rail. Both boards are listed for 4–8S input, including LiHV, with 20 × 20 mm mounting patterns. The mounting pattern is not the board size: check the FC and ESC outlines, stack clearance and peripheral power requirements before assembly.
Key Features
- H7 processing and onboard logging: STM32H743VIH6 MCU, ICM42688 gyro and 32MB Blackbox flash.
- Integrated radio link: onboard SMD 2.4GHz ELRS receiver with external-antenna connection. The supplied guide also illustrates external CRSF receiver wiring.
- Dual regulated outputs: listed 5V / 2.5A and 12V / 2A BECs on the FC, with VTX switching on the 12V rail.
- FPC board interconnect: a ribbon connects the supplied FC and ESC. Follow the illustrated contact orientation, not just the cable shape.
- LED connections: four LED-strip interfaces are described in the product specifications, with supplier-described short-circuit protection. This is not a guarantee against damage from wiring faults.
- Racing-focused ESC construction: listed eight-layer, 3 oz PCB with onboard polymer capacitors and anti-spark/filter circuitry. Current capability depends on operating conditions and cooling.

Flight Controller Specifications & Pinout
The overview drawing identifies power, video, serial, I2C, buzzer, LED and FC–ESC connections. Use the numbered wiring sheets below for the intended peripheral. A matching connector shape does not establish matching pin order.

Firmware target requires confirmation: the earlier product specification names IFLIGHT_BORG_Mini_H7, while the supplied wiring guide shows a different Betaflight target reference. These names must not be assumed interchangeable. Identify the actual board revision and confirm its supported target with iFlight before flashing. The screenshots are reference configurations, not proof that a download or current firmware is available.

Onboard & External Receivers
The external-receiver sheet illustrates TBS and ELRS receivers using CRSF on UART7, with T7, R7, 5V and GND. Connect FC TX to receiver RX and FC RX to receiver TX, and check the receiver's own labels and supply rating. The illustrated configuration uses Serial (via UART), the CRSF provider and telemetry.
This external UART7 example is separate from the onboard UART4 receiver allocation. Do not enable conflicting receiver inputs or assume the two receivers operate together automatically. Back up the configuration, select the intended receiver UART and verify binding, channel response and failsafe before flight.

The LED/buzzer illustration identifies 5V, GND, LED and buzzer pads. Follow the diagram and device requirements; do not confuse the buzzer pads with LED power/data. Follow the shown FPC contact orientation at each board. A different-brand ESC requires independent pinout verification.
60RS ESC Specifications & Motor Wiring

With the board oriented as drawn, motor 4 is upper left, motor 2 upper right, motor 3 lower left and motor 1 lower right. These positions describe this drawing, not a guarantee of your installed orientation or firmware motor mapping. Check actual motor order and direction with propellers removed. Connect battery positive only to VBAT and negative to GND.
Current sensing remains unresolved: the original ESC specification states no current sensor, while the supplied connector drawing includes a CUR label. A connector label alone does not establish an installed, calibrated current sensor. Confirm the actual hardware revision before relying on current or consumed-mAh readings. Telemetry and bidirectional DShot are separate features. The listed 5V and 12V BECs belong to the FC, not the ESC.
The supplier describes onboard polymer capacitors intended to reduce the need for an external capacitor in racing installations. Do not treat that as a universal instruction to omit external filtering: confirm the manufacturer's recommendation for your battery, wiring and build. The listed firmware target/version is a source reference, not a verified update recommendation.
Digital & Analog Video Connections
The supplied guide allocates UART1 to HD/analog VTX use and illustrates several digital and analog systems. Match the exact device, voltage and pin labels in the relevant example. The 5V and 12V outputs are different rails; neither should be selected just because a cable fits.

The sheet distinguishes Vista, O3, O4 Pro and standard O4 examples. In particular, the standard O4 example uses a different power connection from the 12V examples. Do not generalize one Air Unit's supply or cable to another model. The guide's Betaflight 4.4 note refers to selecting VTX (MSP + Displayport) on the appropriate port for digital OSD; match the settings to your actual firmware.
SBUS wiring is relevant when using a compatible DJI radio-control path. It is not an instruction to configure an ELRS/CRSF receiver as SBUS. The guide notes that radio compatibility and normal/fast SBUS settings must match at both ends; verify your exact Air Unit, goggles and controller combination rather than assuming all DJI generations are interchangeable.

For the illustrated analog path, camera video connects to CAM and video output to VTX; power, ground and the VTX control line are separate connections. Select the control protocol supported by the actual VTX, such as SmartAudio or IRC Tramp. Digital systems use their illustrated serial/video interface instead of the analog camera path. Keep each rail within its total rated load and verify device power requirements before connecting it.
GPS & Mounting Dimensions
The GPS example uses UART8: FC R8 connects to GPS TX, and FC T8 to GPS RX, together with the illustrated 5V and GND supply. For a module with supported I2C functions, SDA connects to SDA and SCL to SCL. The guide explicitly states that SDA/SCL cannot be remapped to UARTs. Its UBLOX settings are an example for the illustrated module, not a universal preset for every GPS.

The drawing shows a 36 × 27 mm FC, a 45 × 35 mm ESC and 20 × 20 mm mounting. Its assembly view labels 17 mm and 14 mm reference dimensions. Allow clearance for the illustrated hardware, FPC loop, USB plug and peripheral wires; do not treat either drawing annotation as a guaranteed clearance for every mounting arrangement. Complete stack net weight is not established by the FC-only weight.
Installation Checklist
The supplied allocation is UART1 for VTX, UART2 for ESC telemetry, UART4 for the onboard ELRS receiver, and UART7/UART8 for compatible serial peripherals. The external-receiver example specifically uses UART7 and the GPS example UART8. A UART already assigned to one device is not automatically available to another.
- Confirm the mounting pattern and clearance for the larger ESC outline, hardware, FPC and USB access.
- Insulate boards from conductive frame parts and install the mounting hardware without distorting the boards.
- With power disconnected, check both FPC ends against sheet 3, battery polarity, solder joints and every peripheral pinout. Do not connect or disconnect the ribbon while powered.
- Remove propellers before electrical checks, firmware work and motor tests. Inspect for shorts before connecting the battery.
- Resolve the FC firmware-target discrepancy for the actual board revision before flashing. Back up existing configuration before changing ports, receiver settings or modes.
- Verify receiver channel response, failsafe, motor order/direction, video/OSD operation and both VTX power-switch states before flight.

VTX Power-Switch Reference
Sheet 4 describes the 12V output as controllable VTX power, with AUX9 used in the illustrated default configuration. Its mode example uses a 1600–2000 range and distinguishes the active and inactive states. Match your own switch/channel and test the actual output; the mode indicator alone is not a voltage measurement.
The original listing supplies the following CLI block. It is retained verbatim as a source reference, not a universal preset or a replacement for configuring the intended switch range.
Back up your configuration and verify firmware compatibility, the D10 resource, PINIO behavior, AUX channel/range and existing mode assignments before using this block. Its 900–2100 range differs from the guide's narrower switching example. It includes a save command and may replace an existing AUX entry. Do not paste it blindly; test actual VTX power states with propellers removed.

Product FAQ
Does this configuration include a receiver?
Yes, the FC is listed with an onboard SMD 2.4GHz ELRS receiver on UART4. The external CRSF receiver example uses UART7 instead. Confirm firmware, antenna requirements and the intended receiver configuration.
Does 20 × 20 mm describe the board size?
No. It is the mounting pattern. The FC is listed as 36 × 27 mm and the ESC as 45 × 35 mm, each with a ±1 mm tolerance. Check the mounting drawing and actual hardware for stack clearance.
Does the CUR label prove this ESC measures current?
No. The original specification says no current sensor, but the drawing includes a CUR connector label. Confirm the actual revision before relying on current or consumed-mAh data.
Can every DJI Air Unit use the same power connection?
No. The supplied sheet distinguishes Vista, O3, O4 Pro and standard O4 wiring. Follow the exact model's supply requirements and pinout, not another model's cable arrangement.
Can I paste the VTX commands or flash the listed FC target without checking?
No. The source target references differ, and AUX/resource assignments depend on the actual setup. Confirm the board revision and correct firmware, back up settings and test the configured switch safely.
Choose this stack after checking frame clearance, battery system, radio link and video-system requirements. Contact SoarSky before ordering if you need confirmation of the firmware target, current-sensor hardware or exact accessory inventory.
